take care of God’s business, he’ll take care of your business. Young people,
you've got to learn to talk to God for yourself!" |

SUFFRAGAN BISHOP Houston Crenshaw: Step into a New Season Isaiah 63:1-4; 43:14-18; Phil. 3 These are notes and excerpts from Suffragan Bishop Crenshaw's sermon. According
to the physicians, she [Crystal Crenshaw] should not have lived. Praying
for a miracle...a miracle had already occurred. In her condition, she should
not have been able to answer the doctor's questions, but she did. Praise God
for the power of prayer. There is great strength in prayer. It reaches beyond
the ability of men.
I don’t want you to focus on the bad experiences of the past. God has brought you out. Consider what the Apostle Paul had to say – I haven’t reached that place yet, forgetting those things that are behind. He was beaten and bruised, but you must leave that behind. It’s my time. It’s my season. I’m getting fixed in 2006. I’ve been struggling with this thing, this situation too long. It’s time to get it fixed. The year of the redeemed has come! There are three Greek words for redemption. Exagorazo: Bought to be freed–to a place of liberty where you can perform that for which I redeemed you. Lutroo: “you were redeemed,” from a vain way of life. Christ was the price of your redemption. Apolutorsis: deals with the scope of man’s deliverance. He doesn’t bring you out and leave you in the physical torture. He delivers us! It’s my year and my season. Forgetting things which are behind. We don’t like to seek a higher perfection at times. Your time has come. Forget the past. It seems so hard to throw our old baggage overboard. Consider not the past. With regard to my daughter, I’m gonna do a new thing. The land you are going to is not like the land you came from. Your time has come. Lets step off the things of 2005. God is doing a new thing. You’ve got to trust me the Lord. You’ve go to obey my word. You got to step out of sin. My time has come. I’m stepping into my freedom. I’m stepping into my liberty. It’s a new season. I’ve got to live. My power is at a higher level. If you trust me. I’ll heal you. If you trust me, I’ll deliver you. Alluding to the woman with the issue of blood. You’ve got to press your way through and touch Jesus. The blind man cried out, “Jesus, have mercy on me.” You got to cry to get God’s attention. I'm gonna pray until I get God’s attention. When you get it, he will come to your rescue. Tell the devil, “I’m getting it fixed in 2006.” It’s time now to step into your new season. It’s my time. I'm stepping into my new season. It’s time for saints to tell Jesus, “Speak the word and my healing will come.” The centurion said, “Speak the word.” Tell Jesus,"Sspeak healing; speak my deliverance." You’ve been wrestling with it too long. Take Job’s attitude! There is no drifting over here. It takes a push. There is no coasting. You must have a press. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. |
