| Praise
ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in the firmament of
his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according
to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:
praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel
and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise
him upon the loud sounding cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.--Psalms
150:1-6 |
Make
a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness;
come before his presence with singing. Know that the LORD he is God: it is
he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep
of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts
with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good;
his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. --Psalms

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope
thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Minister Wilson of Emmanuel Temple--And
when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD,
and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before
the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against
the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah;
and they were smitten. Stand Still and see the salvation of the Lord.
