| We
will overcome by the words of our testimonies! "God chose me--to give me
the Holy Ghost. I love you, Lord! He has given me more love, joy and peace....
Everyone needs a chance to get to know the LORD!" |
When
praises go up, the blessings come down. In his presence is fullness of joy. |

Class: District Elder Gamble
Praises! The Lord dwells in the midst of praise! The Battle is not yours. This battle belongs to God!.When you praise God, the anointing comes. When you praise God, the VICTORY comes. II Chron. 15:20-22(Stand still) ; I Kings 21:1- 4 (I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers). If you have too many folks, they’ll brag. There is something about praise that ignites God. We already have the victory. All we have to do is break some pitchers. Esau and Jacob: The birthright went to the eldest son and was connected to the covenant with Abraham, which included the lineage through which the messiah would come. It wasn’t just the material things that were important. Esau sold out! Leadership: Leadership is action. God wants somebody in action. We want to act so that our memberships will double. We are a people who act. We want to do more than just sit down and do nothing. Esau: Gave up because he had no respect. He was supposed to be the priest of the family. There is only one leader in the family. I’m a poor pastor if I keep clothes on my back and the church has no vacuum. This is a great position. I have a position as the leader in the family. Esau showed no appreciation for God. *They were brought up at the same time and taught the same things. One becomes a crook and one is straight. Esau had a lot of things going for him. Some people put on a good show. You can be physically strong and spiritually week. Jacob chose the good part. “My soul Panteth after thee.” Everybody doesn’t have a spiritual appetite. Twenty-nine folks received the Holy Ghost. Are they getting the same Holy Ghost I got? Some are right back where they were. Some act like they never had it. “My Holy Ghost made me want to be there [church] every time the door opened. We sing, but we don’t sing long enough. Sing until the power of the Lord comes down. I couldn’t wait to get off the tractor and get to the good part. Be concerned about the spiritual man–be like Jacob. I want the spiritual part. Mary knew she was unworthy, but she chose the good part. While we’re trying to make a name, we need to choose the good part. Esau lost by selling out. The devil
is in no hurry. I’m gonna keep working on you.
While Esau was looking for soup, Jacob was looking for the birthright. Judas saw and heard the same things. He was hand picked by God, but he sold out. Money is a problem for some people. “The love of money is the root of all evil.” We need more people with the spirit of Naboth. I’m not going to sell. The world doesn’t take it away, you give it away. Only I can give it away. You may knock me down, but I can get up. Some people get knocked down. We can take what ever comes our way. Jesus is a great example of how we should live. God is not concerned about your big words–he’s concerned about serving him from you heart. Stick by your pastor. I thank God for people that work with me. Do what you can for your pastor. Work with them. We have some of the best people in the PAW. I will stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made me free. God gave me this vineyard; I will not sell it! There is more to this vineyard than just the fruit. God gave it to me. We’ve got to hold what God gave us.. I appreciate my brothers and pastors. I want to be a help. There is more to this vineyard than plums and grapes. Naboth saw the spiritual, Ahab saw the natural. Do everything you can to please God. |
