Soldiers...Mount Zion Temple Soldiers... |
| Hanford, CA-- In what was perhaps
the most visually impressive event of the fellowship meeting, the
Mount Zion Temple Soldiers performed their "Armed and Dangerous" skit
for the saints during the Young Peoples' service and also gave an encore
presentation during the evening service. Below are some of the
words to the skit. Commander: “Soldiers, we’ve been called to war--to war against the Devil. The Devil has been roaming around destroying lives, pushing drugs, seeking whom he may devour. We must have our weapons with us at all times. Do you have your weapons with you? Soldiers: “Yes, sister mighty leader sir.” Commander: "Weapons check!" (The soldiers bring their Bibles to the front, mid chest.) Soldiers: ”This is my Bible. It is called the word of God. It’s called the sword of the spirit. It is my spiritual weapon. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do. Devil. I am armed and dangerous. In Jesus name!...AMEN. Commander: "We have a weapon that can stop the Devil, and it is called our praise." Soldier #1: “Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power." Soldier #2: "Praise him for his might acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness." Soldier #3: "Praise him with sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp." Soldier #4: "Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs." Soldier #5: "Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals." Soldier #6: "Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Commander: "About face! The Bible tells us in Acts 2:38...” Soldiers: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!" |
